Applications are now open for the 2023 – 2024 school year.
The purpose of this advisory board is to assist The Rowan Center in its mission to eliminate sexual violence by providing insight, information, and perspective about sexual violence at high schools and on college campuses.
Requirements:
- Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in high school
- Must attend high school or college within the eight towns we serve
(Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, Weston, Westport, Wilton) - Must be able to attend monthly meetings (The Rowan Center Student Advisory Board will meet for approximately 1 hour on one Sunday each month)
- Due to the sensitive nature of the topics we will discuss, we ask for your complete confidentiality. This concerns what is discussed in meetings and not sharing personal or identifying details about yourself or others.
