This month, three members of The Rowan Center’s Student Advisory Board (SAB) organized a Learn Before You Leave Panel in partnership with Greenwich Library. Ava, Nora, and Leah are students at Greenwich High School and passionate advocates for change. As members of the SAB, they work to prevent sexual violence by raising awareness about the issue with their friends and classmates.
Ava, Nora, and Leah planned this event to prepare high schoolers for their next steps. Parents and students were invited to attend the panel to learn more about preventing violence and staying safe.
The Rowan Center is grateful to panelists Magdalena Silver (UCONN Police), Ellen Brezovsky (Kids in Crisis), Colleen Sherry (Fordham EMS), and Sarah Malhotra (The Rowan Center) for sharing their knowledge and facilitating a great discussion!
