Quick Exit

Exiting can feel harder than refusing outright. Children often need permission and practice. Work together to develop neutral, non-dramatic exit phrases like “I need to go,” “This isn’t my thing,” or “I’m not comfortable with this.”

Practice these out loud so they feel natural. Knowing what to say ahead of time reduces panic and increases confidence when discomfort arises.
